Cookbook Club

Cooks & Books, the cookbook club that I started, has now been going strong for three years. In those three years, I have seen members come and go and come back again. I am continually amazed at the creativity and warm friendliness of this group. I have learned so many new cooking techniques over the years and yet I continue to learn more. The ladies challenge me to always find new things to teach and discuss for each monthly theme.
The theme Mix Now, Make Later focuses on recipes that can be given as gifts. The dry ingredients are presented in a jar with directions of which additional ingredients are needed and directions for completing the recipe. Although only a handful of these recipes came in dry ingredient form, I tried to convey each person's recipe in a way that it could be packaged as a gift. I hope you all enjoy these creative recipes as much as I did.
